Hosting is available to:
- Families, couples, or individuals living in a stable home environment
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Households willing to provide a private, furnished bedroom and three daily meals
- People who are open, welcoming, and ready to support a student’s cultural and academic adjustment
- Note: All host families must complete a background check and home visit.

Step 1 - Apply to Become a Host
Complete the host application form and provide basic household details.
Step 2 - Home Assessment and Interview
Our team will schedule a visit to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
Step 3 - Get Matched with a Student
We carefully match students based on personality, preferences, and compatibility.
Step 4 - Prepare for Arrival
We guide you through what to expect, how to prepare, and support your student’s arrival.
Step 5 - Ongoing Support
We check in regularly and are available 24/7 to support both you and the student.

What Will Be Expected of Me?
As a host, you’ll provide a safe, welcoming space and help your student settle into everyday Canadian life.
- Provide a clean, safe, and friendly home environment
- Offer a private room with bed, desk, and storage
- Supply nutritious meals (3 per day)
- Include the student in daily family life
- Help them adjust to Canadian culture, school routines, and transit
- Communicate regularly with program coordinators
